I've always wanted to make textures, so today as I was helping my mom rip her CDs onto the comp, i noticed that some of her CDs had some nice patterns and stuff. So I scanned them and played around with them and created 6 textures. All of the resolutions are different... it's just how it so happened to be XD
Anyways, feel free to use them for anything, please just credit.
hello :] your textures are beautiful, i've downloaded them and giving credit, but i've encountered a problem. so i've been using photoshop for quite a while now and i've learned pretty much all there is too it except for textures. Do you mind explaining how you get the texture to actually show onto the photo? usually i just copy the texture onto the image and change the blending mode, yet the texture doesn't seem to jump out? Your help would be much appreciated
like what kinds of photos are you putting them on? because sometimes the colors of the photos will vary the blending mode that the textures are used on. If the pictures are generally light in color, your best bet is to use multiply or darken or burn and if your photo is dark, maybe screen or lighten is best... you really have to play around with the blending mode and maybe even the positioning of the texture or which parts of the textures you use
